Southern York County Chiropractor, Dr. Karen Barclay

Southern York County Chiropractor, Dr. Karen BarclayI feel so blessed that I am able to do what I love and help people achieve optimal health and well being through chiropractic. I received my first chiropractic adjustment for a shoulder injury from a horseback riding accident when I was 18. After seeing improvement in my shoulder from chiropractic, I also noticed that my overall health began to improve from regular wellness care.

My passion had always been health and wellness, so I felt very lucky that I found my calling in chiropractic. I went to Penn State University for my pre-chiropractic studies and graduated from Life University, in Marietta, GA with a doctorate in chiropractic.

After practicing in Chambersburg, PA for a year, I decided to open my office in my hometown in 2003. It has been a great experience and have met a lot of fantastic people along the way.

I love going out into my community to promote wellness through chiropractic and healthy living; my goal is to see Southern York County get healthy!

Our office has a Wellness Works program for small businesses in the area. I have worked with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society's Relay for Life and go to local schools to talk to students about back pack safety and the importance of a healthy spine and nervous system.

My family and I "walk the talk," we get regular chiropractic adjustments.  My son, Gabriel, received his first adjustment when he was only two days old, and we have been blessed that he has been a healthy child since birth!

In my spare time, I enjoy adjusting horses and horseback riding, hiking, traveling and exploring new places and long-distance running... you will usually find me on the weekends on the rail trail running with a stroller while my son enjoys the scenery!

Enough about me! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health.
